Extorionist arrested in North-West Delhi

New Delhi, May 25 (UNI) A criminal wanted in several extortion cases, has been arrested from the North-West Delhi, police said today.

Sanjay Shokeen, (30), was arrested by sleuths of the Anti-Robbery cell of the Crime Branch yesterday in Pitampura area.

Police recovered 7.65 mm pistol and two live cartridges from the accused, involved in more than five criminal cases.

During interrogation, shokeen admitted his involvement in the kidnapping of one Sudershan Sikri from Rohini.
