CR to effect mega block on Sunday

Mumbai, May 25 (UNI) Local suburban services between Belapur and Panvel on the harbour line and Vidyavihar and Mulund (fast line) on the Central line in both directions will remain suspended for five to six hrs on Sunday to facilitate the maintenance work, a Central Railway release said today.

According to the release, all up and down harbour line services, leaving CST from 0940 hrs to 1443 hrs will run only up to Belapur and vice-versa.

However, harbour line services between Bandra and Andheri in both directions will not be affected during the block period, the release said.

The fast line services leaving Kurla from 0944 hrs to 1311 hrs will run on down local line between Vidyavihar and Mulund stations and will halt at all stations between Mulund and Ghatkopar.

Similarly, up fast line leaving Thane from 1005 hrs to 1447 hrs will run on up local line between Mulund and Vidyavihar stations and will halt at all stations between Mulund and Ghatkopar, the release added.
