CBSE results out, girls outshine boys
New Delhi, May 25 (UNI) Girls once again outshone boys in the CBSE Class XII examination results declared today, even as the overall pass percentage was 80.64.
Announcing the results, CBSE Chairman Ashok Ganguly said the overall pass percentage for girls was 85.02 while the boys lagged behind with 77.37 per cent.
The Chennai region topped with 91.39 per cent of students clearing the exam while Delhi was at the fourth position (81.93 per cent).
The second slot went to Ajmer (85.18 per cent) followed by Panchkula (83.56 percent) and Allahabad stood fifth (76.14 per cent).
