Body of 65-year-old man recovered in Kashmir

Srinagar, May 25 (UNI) The Jammu and Kashmir police today recovered the body of a 65-year-old person from a forest area while a Power Development Department (PDD) employee was wounded in the Valley.

Police said the body of the 65-year-old man was recovered from the forest area of Shajimarg in Tangmarg area of Baramulla district.

They said no mark of violence was visible on the body.

Police have started investigations in this regard.

A PDD employee, Javed Ahmed Mir, was working at Wanpoh grid station in Kulgam district of south Kashmir when he received severe electric shock. He was rushed to a hospital.

Police said fire broke out in an auto rickshaw at Shariefabad road near Abnishah under Parimpora police station. The fire triggered a blast in the vehicle.

However, no casualty was reported in the incident.
