6 of a family killed in road accident

Faizabad, May 25 (UNI) Six members of a family, including four minors, died and another was seriously injured after a speeding truck collided head-on with a car here today.

The mishap took place on the Faizabad-Lucknow highway in Raunahi area, where the collision killed six car passengers on the spot.

The injured was rushed to the district hospital in a critical condition.

The deceaseds were identified as Khem Chand Yadav (47), Anju (38), Saurabh (16), Sagar (10), Neha (12) and Tanya (7).

According to police, the deceaseds were residents of Saharatganj area (Cantonment) here and were en route to Lucknow.
