Two tiger cubs found dead in Ranathambore National Park

Jaipur, May 24(UNI) Two tiger cubs died after falling in to dry pond in Ranthambore National Park while one was saved by the forest officials.

Deputy Director Ranthambore Tiger Project RS Shekawat said two tiger cubs were found dead while one was in a critical condition at Bhabari in the Khandhar Range of the park yesterday. He said the cubs were found in the pond (bhabri) which is about 20-25 feet deep at Ganesh nagar locality. He said incident came to the notice of the forest officials during the morning beat.

''The reason for the death is found to be starvation while the one rescued cub has joined its mother after it was released early today morning''.
