Two die after falling of trains in Punjab
Phagwara, May 25 (UNI) Three persons including a woman were killed in different road and rail mishaps in and around town since last night, police today stated.
According to reports received here two persons were killed after falling of trains while the third died in a road mishap.
A woman identified as Usha Aggarwal was killed on the spot when the car in which she was returning from Jalandhar dashed against a tree. She was the wife of RSS activist Chander Aggarwal. The driver of the car sustained minor injuries.
In the second incident a Bihari migrant labourer identified as Abdul Razak(50) was crushed under the wheels of the 2477UP Superfast Express near the railway station. The victim apparently fell off the train.
In another incident an unidentified youth died after falling down from the Delhi bound Madras Mail near Khajurala railway crossing on Phagwara-Jalandhar rail section.
