Seven of a family found dead near Jaipur

Jaipur, May 24 (UNI) Seven members of a family were found dead in suspicious circumstances in Chandlai village near Shivdaspura about 20 Km from here this morning.

A police spokesman said that Gopal Raigar, his wife Sharda, three daughters and two sons aged between 5 and 15 years, all having cuts in their neck, were found dead in their house.

The spokesman said the circumstantial evidences suggested that the family had consumed or administered poison while having their dinner last night. Cuts on neck of all victims and recovery of a knife from the spot also suggested that they might have been killed by someone.

He said initially the police had registered a case of multiple murder and was investigating into the case with keeping all options open.
