Sanjay Dutt to appear in TADA Court tomorrow
Mumbai, May 24 (UNI) Serial blasts convict and Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt will appear tomorrow before designated TADA Court in response to an earlier judicial directive.
However, it is not clear whether the court will decide his fate tomorrow or not.
According to court sources, TADA court judge P D Kode had yesterday issued a letter to the probation officer of the State Government to submit reports pertaining to few convicts.
Under the Probation of Offenders Act, it is mandatory for a presiding officer to call for a report before passing any order in the matter. It may be recalled that Dutt and his three friends Yousuf Nullwala, Karsi Adjenia and Rusi Mulla had moved an application under the POA, requesting the court to grant them relief under the Act instead of sentencing them.
