RMO of Osmania General Hospital in ACB net

Hyderabad, May 24 (UNI) Sleuths of the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) raided the residence of the Government Osmania Hospital Resident Medical Officer (RMO) P Vasanta this morning and recovered assets worth more than Rs 78 lakh.

ACB officials said simultaneous raids were also being carried out at the residence of her husband Dr Raghuram, who is presently the Superintendent of Sri Venkateswara Hospital, Tirupati.

However, Dr Vasanta claimed that all the assets were purchased by hard earned money.

ACB officials said they had found records of another house in Golconda, a plot in Golconda, documents of 20 sites, eleven acres of land in Mahaboob Nagar district and 15 tolas of gold.
