Re-designation of J
Srinagar, May 24 (UNI) The Jammu and Kashmir government today accorded sanction to the re-designation of the post of Resident Commissioner in New Delhi as Principal Resident Commissioner.
An official spokesman said the order would come into effect as and when the post was held by the officer of the rank of Principal Secretary to the Jammu and Kashmir government and above.
Similarly, he said Secretary in the Resident Commission, New Delhi, has been re-designated as Deputy Resident Commissioner and Ex-Officio Secretary, Resident Commission, New Delhi.
Consequent upon the orders, Resident Commissioner, New Delhi, S V Bhave has been designated as Principal Resident Commissioner, Jammu and Kashmir government, New Delhi, the spokesman added.
Similarly, he said Secretary in the Resident Commission M H Malik has been re-designated as Deputy Resident Commissioner and Ex-Officio Secretary, Resident Commission, New Delhi.
The state government has also accorded sanction for establishment of a camp office of the Directorate of Handloom at Srinagar.
As per the government order, the Director Handloom will sit for ten days in a month in the camp office excluding those days when the officer would be touring in the Kashmir division.
