New passenger amenities soon at Vizag airport: MP

Visakhapatnam, May 24 (UNI) New passenger amenities would be made operational in the Vizag airport soon, Vizag MP N Janadhana Reddy said today.

Talking to reporters here, he said Defence Ministry Joint Secretary Vineya Kumar and Airport Authority of India (AAI) Chairman Ramalinga Swamy would visit the airport tomorrow to oversee the construction works of the new runway with night landing facility.

He said he would prevail upon the Centre to introduce new trains in the section in addition to new passenger facilities at the railway station here.
