Local body election in J'khand after preparing voter list:CM
Ranchi, May 24 (UNI) Jharkhand Chief Minister Madhu Koda today said the panchayet elections in the state would be held soon after the voter list was prepared.
Mr Koda told a news conference after a review meeting with the Deputy Commissioners, that the government would hold the local body election and panchayat polls after a High Court decision in this regard.
Giving details of the review meeting, Mr Koda said the government had decided to add 73000 new persons in the list of old age pension holders.
He said about 26000 houses under Indira Awas Yojana (IAY) would be constructed by June and one lakh under Siddo Kanhu Awas (SKA) for BPL families.
