GSPC completes 1500 km of Gas Grid project

Mumbai, May 24 (UNI) Gujarat State Petronet Limited(GSPL), a subsidiary of Gujarat State Petroleum Corporation(GSPC), has entered into a landmark era by completing 1500 km of its approximately 2500 km network of high-pressure pipe lines under the state gas grid project.

To commemorate the achievements, GSPC is organising an event on May 31, at its Vapi terminal, which will be inaugurated by Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi.

The project was set up with a mission to promote gas availability in the state by a high quality gas transportation infrastructure. In this endeavor, company is entering into a landmark era as it completes a milestone foot in the south Gujarat region, informed GSPL.

According to the company, this clean and competitive fuel will not only stimulate all round economic development but will also usher an environmental friendly source of energy for both the industry and domestic users which will incrementally improve the quality of life for the people of south Gujarat. The gas grid will ensure uninterrupted supply of gas to the industry thereby increasing its competitiveness in the global market.
