New Delhi, May 24: AICC General Secretary and union Minister Oscar Fernandes today felt that the ruling BJP-Janata Dal (Secular) coalition was going well in Karnataka and there was no need for his party to interfere at this stage.

Answering questions about Karnataka where lot of questions were being raised about the longevity of the ruling coalition when the transfer of power is due in September, Mr Fernandes said he could only react in his personal capacity not on behalf of his party.

"In my view Congress party should attempt to come back to power through elections whenever they are held", he remarked avoiding a direct answer to a number of questions about the possibility of Congress working out an alliance in Karnataka one more time. The Congress was in alliance with J D (S) in the first 20 months which was broken by the latter to from another with BJP.
