11 injured in bus-truck collision in HP

Shimla, May 24 (UNI) Eleven people were injured in an Himachal Road Transport Corporation (HRTC) mini bus and truck collision in Shimla district of Himachal Pradesh early today, police sources said.

The head on collision occurred at Dumair village, about 80 km from here, in the district at about 0800 hrs, the sources told UNI here.

The injured have been referred to Indira Gandhi Medical College and Hospital (IGMC) here where the doctors described their condition stable and out of danger.

The sources said the accident occurred due to rash and negligent driving by the truck driver, who has been arrested.

A case has been registered against him, the sources added.
