Zee Group launches first Kidzcare Centre in AP
Hyderabad, May 23: Zee Interactive Learning Systems (ZILS), an ISO 9001-2000 certified arm of Zee Network, today launched 'Kidzcare', its franchisee Childcare Centre, targetting the BPO-ITE working couples here.
After launching its first centre at New Delhi, ZILS planned 35 centres across the IT hubs in the country during the year, ZILS' CEO Arun Khetan said here.
With its three models covering five segments from six months to 12 years, 'Kidzcare', claimed to be the ''first foray by a corporate in this sector'', is looking at a possible huge market in India of about Rs 10,000 crore by 2010.
''We will be opening two of the three centres at Bangalore this month, and have signed up for two more at Gurgaon. Besides, we are looking at centres like Mumbai, Kolkata, Bhubaneswar, Pune and Noida,'' he said.
The franchisee has to provide the space while ZILS will give ''everything'' for the centre, after the company architect certified its layout and facilities.
The Company will spend Rs two crore on Branding. It has also spent Rs 5 crore so far for content development for the centres.
'Kidzcare' is a backward integration of its pre-school concept, 'Kidzee', covering more than 600 schools over 250 locations in India and UAE. 'Kidzee' notched up business of about Rs 32 crore last year.
