Theft from hundi, sale of fake laddus: Two held

Tirumala, May 23 (UNI) Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) Vigilance officials held two persons inconnection with theft of money from Hundi and sale of fake laddus here today.

According to vigilance officials, one S V Narayana was held for stealing Rs 5000, while working at 'Tulabharam hundi' located inside the temple.

In another case, a TTD employee Venkataramana, working at laddu issuing counter, was held while selling fake laddus to pilgrims.

Both the accused were handed over to the police, the officials added.
