Gang of women chain snatchers busted

New Delhi, May 23 (UNI) With the arrest of two women from South Delhi, police today claimed to have busted a gang involved in chain snatching.

Shakuntla (33) and Vijeta (21) were arrested from Kalkaji on May 18. Three other menbers of the gang-- Fatima, Dharmo Devi and Jalebi are absconding. They used to carry infants with them while stealing chains.

Police recovered six chains from them.

Further investigations are in progress.
