AP: Dr Samaram participates in GHC at Washington

Vijayawada, May 23: Renowned medical science writer Dr G Samaram has been invited to participate in a three-day Global Health Conference (GHC) at Washington commencing from May 29.

Informing this to UNI here, Atheist centre executive director Dr G Vijayam said experts from nearly 100 countries would take part in the international conference to discuss the burning problems relating to health, preventive and curative.

Dr Samaram would also address the three-day national conference of the American Humanist Association at Portland, beginning from June 8 on the significance of the secular social work of the Athesit centre and its medical and health interventions to dispel superstitions such as witchcraft and sorcery and also to create awareness about HIV/AIDS.
