Boeing CFO has upward, positive bias on outlook

NEW YORK, May 23 (Reuters) Boeing Co.'s chief financial officer said on Wednesday he had an ''upward, positive bias'' on the company's current financial outlook, and said its financial forecast would be updated after its next quarterly results are announced in July.

Speaking at the planemaker and defense contractor's annual investor presentation, which was broadcast over the Internet, Boeing CFO James Bell acknowledged that Wall Street analysts are generally expecting greater profit than the company is forecasting.

He said Boeing would give ''more information'' on its financial performance in July.
