Al-Mansoorian claims attack on Mendhar police station

Srinagar, May 23 (UNI) The Al-Mansoorian militant outfit has claimed responsibility for the attack on the Mendhar police station in Poonch district of Jammu region today in which several policemen, including a Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP), were wounded.

A person, identifying himself as outfit spokesman Amir Mir, called up offices of several local media organisations here to claim the responsibility for the attack.

''Cadres from our outfit carried out the attack on the Mendhar police station this morning,'' he said.
