Maid involved in several 'drug-n-steal' ops across 3 states arrested

New Delhi, May 22 (UNI) Police have arrested a 35-year-old maid involved in a number of 'drug-and-steal' operations across three states over a two-year period, from Chennai in Tamil Nadu.

Sudha alias Saheeda was arrested on May 17 by a team of Special Staff sleuths of Delhi's South District from her native place in Chennai, after monitoring her movements, said the police today.

The accused would lace food with drugs and then decamp with whatever valuables she could lay her hands on.

During investigations it was revealed that she had committed seven similar 'operations' in Noida, Faridabad and Delhi and would target mainly elderly people living alone.
