IAS Officers' Association condoles Joginder Hooda's death
Chandigarh, May 22 (UNI) The Haryana IAS Officers' Association has condoled the demise of Mr Joginder Singh Hooda, elder brother of Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda.
The association expressed its ''deep condolences'' through a resolution which it adopted at a condolence meeting here today.
A two-minute silence was also observed to mourn his death.
The resolution states,"An agriculturist by profession, Mr Joginder Singh Hooda took keen interest in various welfare activities for the poor and deprived sections of the society. A great pillar of strength to his family members, he was known for his qualities of head and heart among his friends and admirers.
"Being born and brought up in a family of freedom fighters like his father, Mr Ranbir Singh and grandfather Ch. Matu Ram, Mr Joginder Singh had imbibed in himself a spirit of patriotism and selfless service to the society. His untimely demise has created a deep void which would be impossible to fill,'' it added.
