Home Ministry reviews security situation in wake of Gorakhpur blasts
New Delhi, May 22 (UNI) The Union Home Ministry today reviewed the security situation in wake of the three serial blast in Gorakhpur district of Uttar Pradesh, seriously injuring five people at least.
''We are in touch with the UP government,'' a Home Ministry spokesman said, here adding that Home Secretary Madhukar Gupta had talked to UP's Director General of Police G L Sharma.
The spokesman said that the state government hd been advised to take all necessary measures to make sure that peace was maintained in the area and nothing untoward happend in wake of the blasts.
