Two die and three Injured in Kashmir accidents

Srinagar, May 21 (UNI) Two people were killed and three others wounded in separate accidents in the Kashmir valley today, a police spokesman said.

He said three members of a family were injured when a car in which they were travelling met with an accident at Hamray, Pattan, about 30 km from here on Srinagar-Baramulla road. The injured were admitted to hospital where one Fareeda Begum died.

In another incident a speedy car hit and injured a ice-cream vendor Vijay Vadoo, a resident of Bihar, at Chursoo in south Kashmir. He has been hospitalised.

He said a girl, Zori Begum, daughter of Shaib Khan, resident of Wayil Whoder drowned in the power canal.

An accidental fire broke out at Dardpora Kralpora causing damage to the house of Ab. Qayoom Khaja and Hashim Khaja.
