Tejpreet Chopra new head of GE in India

New Delhi, May 21 (UNI) General Electric Company (GE) today appointed Tejpreet Singh Chopra as the President and CEO for its Indian division.

Mr Chopra, who succeeds Scott R Bayman, will be responsible for the strategic and overall leadership of all GE businesses in India, a company statement said.

Mr Chopra is currently the President and CEO of GE Commercial Finance, India. He brought considerable management and global finance experience to the post of CEO, Commercial Finance, which he assumed in May 2006.

Prior to this, he was senior vice-president and country head -India for GE Commercial Aviation Services (GECAS), the commercial aircraft leasing and financing unit of GE, the statement added.
