Bhopal, May 21 (UNI) The Madhya Pradesh&Chhattisgarh Kendri Sri Guru Singh Sabha has submitted a memorandum to Governor Balram Jakhar demanding curbing activities of Dera Sacha Sauda in the wake of violence that erupted in Punjab after its chief appeared dressed as tenth Sikh Guru Gobind Singh recently.

In the memorandum, the Sabha stated that a meeting of presidents and secretaries of all Gurudwaras in the state capital, representatives of the Sabha and prominent Sikh citizens was called to discuss the matter.

A resolution was passed unanimously condemning Dera Sacha Sauda chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh's act when he appeared dressed as the tenth Guru and distributed 'amrit' calling it 'Jam-e-insan'.

The act hurt the religious sentiments of Sikhs, who believed in Gurbani and worshipped it.

The state capital's Sikh Sangat demanded that the Centre and the Punjab&Haryana Government take stern against the Dera head.
