Sikh traders in Pune to down shutters to support Punjab bandh
Pune, May 21 (UNI) The Gurudwara Guru Nanak Darbar (GGND) here has asked all members of city's Sikh community to observe a bandh tomorrow in support of the 'hukumnama' (edict) issued by the Akal Takht against 'Dera Sacha Sauda' sect.
A GGND statement said today that all Sikhs have been asked to down shutters at work places including factories, offices, shops, etc tomorrow in support of the 'hukumnama'.
The problem arose after the Dera Sacha Sauda sect chief Gurmit Ram Rahim Singh allegedly dressed up like Guru Gobind Singh and hurt Sikh religious sentiments.
