Patna High Court directs to dispose of a case of Md Shahabuddin

Patna, May 21 (UNI) Patna High court today directed the trial court to dispose of a case involving incarcerated RJD MP Shahabuddin, within a month.

The order was passed by a single bench of Justice Ghanshyam Prasad in connection with a case relating to recovery of stolen vehicles from the ancestral house of MD Shahabuddin at Pratappur village in Siwan district.

Earlier, the bench had directed that the hearing in the case should be completed within nine months and the next hearing be held in July.

According to the charges, the police had recovered some stolen vehicles following a raid at Pratappur on April 24, 2005. Later an FIR was lodged at Hussaingunj police station against Md Shahabuddin.
