N R Group plays host to a team of students from Switzerland

Mysore, May 21 (UNI) N R Group, a leading agarbathy manufacturer in the country, is playing host to a 15 member students team from the Asia Research Centre (ARC) of the University of St Gallen, Switzerland at their incense producing unit here.

The students are here as part of their Asia context study trip to India.

According to Prof Dr Li Chuy Chong, the faculty with the team, the objective of the visit was to expose European students to an Indian environment to percieve contextual differences and help them understand how these contextual variables influence management processes and business practices.

The N R group has been running the traditional business and the Swiss team was here to understand the working of a traditional Indian industry and the economic sector in modern India.

The N R Group Managing Director Vishnu Ranga briefed the students on the large marketing and sales network of the Group and how over 15,000 families were directly and indirectly depended on N R Group business.

N R group is a Mysore based business conglomerate that makes the well known Cycle Brand agarbathies, the group has spread its wings far and wide into other allied business activities across incense sticks, perfumes, electronics and education. They run several social initiatives some of them being Ranga Rao Memorial School for the Blind and Cycle Scholarship programme.
