Lok Sabha Secretary General P D T Achary gets extension

New Delhi, May 21 (UNI) Lok Sabha Secretary General P D T Achary has been given a two-year extension of service.

Mr Achary was appointed Secretary General in the Lok Sabha Secretariat in June 2005 on contract for a period of two years.

The Lok Sabha Secretariat today said Speaker Somnath Chatterjee has given him extension till June 2009.

Mr Achary holds the rank and status of Cabinet Secretary.
