K'taka govt to depute police team to Hyderabad
Bangalore, May 21 (UNI) The Karnataka government will be deputing a special police team to Hyderabad to study explosive devices used in the blast at the Mecca Masjid, in which more than 11 people were killed and several others injured on May 18.
Talking to newspersons here, State Home Minister M P prakash said the team would also study the modus operandi of the terrorists.
Replying to a question, he said there were no information with the state government about whether the terrorists involved in the Hyderabad blast had slipped into Karnataka.
However, a red alert had been sounded in the state and police had asked to maintain strict vigil and conduct searches, he added.
