IndianOil Skytanking signs agreement with BAIL
Bangalore, May 21 (UNI) IndianOil Skytanking Ltd (IOSL) today announced the signing of a 10-year agreement with Bangalore International Airport Ltd (BIAL) for offering Into-Plane Services to domestic and international Airliners.
The agreement was signed by BIAL CEO Albert Brunner and IOSL CEO Dr R Ravi Kumar, according to a release here. The second agreement signed by BIAL would enable IOSL get access to fuel aircraft landing at the new airport scheduled to open during 2008.
IOSL was a joint venture of Indian Oil Corporation, Indian Oiltanking and Skytanking Holding of Germany. IOSL was also the Fuel Partner for BIAL and was building its Fuel Farm Facility and Hydrant System at a cost of 23 million dollars at the airport.
BIAL was expected to handle up to 100,000 takeoffs and landings annually and this business alliance would add strength to IOSL's Fuel Farm operations.
