Haryana: Rs 200 cr scheme for 24-hour power in Bhiwani
Chandigarh, May 21 (UNI) Dakshin Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam (DHBVN) has decided to spend a sum of Rs 200 crore for strengthening the power transmission and distribution system in Bhiwani district so as to ensure uninterrupted power supply to the people.
A DHBVN spokesman said that under this ambitious project, the Nigam would construct 17 new substations besides augmenting the capacity of 12 existing substations.
After completion of this project, the Bhiwani district would have total number of 58 substations.
Besides, the Nigam also plans to modernise 61 feeders of Bhiwani district by separating these feeders into two parts.
Similarly, domestic and agricultural load of other 61 feeders would be segregated.
