Three arrested with 5 passports of Canada-bound Nepali players
New Delhi, May 20 (UNI) Three auto robbers, in search for 'clients' for stolen goods, have been arrested along with five passports of Nepali players from two places in South Delhi.
While Israel alias Guddu (35) and Rajesh (25) were arrested from Sangam Vihar, their associate Devender Bisht alias Danny (25) was caught from Khan market by the Delhi Police's Anti-Auto Theft Squad, police said today.
''Five passports belonging to Canada-bound Nepali Taekowondo team players, a country-made pistol and four stolen motorcycles were seized from their possession.'' Two motorcycle-borne men had waylaid the players' auto on May 9 near Hazrat Nizamuddin area in South Delhi while they were returning from Canadian High Commission in Nehru Place and fled after snatching their passports at knife point.
During interrogation the accused said they were searching for clients who would buy the passports.
