Police appeal for thorough check at places of worship

Visakhapatnam, May 20 (UNI) City Police Commissioner V S K Kaumudi today appealed to all the religious communities to thoroughly check their prayer halls before starting prayers, in the backdrop of the May 18 blast at the Mecca Masjid in Hyderabad.

He appealed to people not to touch any suspicious objects near the places of worship, and also inform the police control room or the nearest police station. He urged them not to believe any rumour.
