Fmr NTPC Chairman

New Delhi, May 20 (UNI) Former Chairman and Director of public sector company NTPC Rajendra Singh today passed away after a brief illness.

During Mr Singh's tenure, NTPC was given the Navaratna status by the union Government. He introduced many innovative management practices during his tenure which helped NTPC grow substantialy.

In a carrer spanning over 40 years, Mr Singh was conferred numerous awards and recognitions.
