Court official among two Hizb activists arrested in Kashmir
Srinagar, May 20 (UNI) Two over ground workers (OGWs), including a court official, of the pro-Pakistan Hizbul Mujahideen were arrested by the Army from Badgam district in central Kashmir today.
A defence spokesman said a search operation was launched by 35 Rashtriya Rifles (RR) on specific information in general area of Khan Sahib in Badgam district today.
The troops apprehended two Hizb OGWs, identified as Fayaz Ahmed Ahangar, a resident of Zugu Khariyan, Beerwah, and Abdul Qayoom Dar of Baramulla, he added.
The spokesman said Dar was working as a clerk in the Baramulla district court. The two were later handed over to the Badgam police station for further interrogation, he added.
