Maharashtra to observe May 21 as Anti-Terrorism Day
Mumbai, May 19 (UNI) The Maharashtra government today announced that it will observe May 21, which also happens to be the death anniversary of former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi, as Anti-terrorism and Anti-violence day.
On May 21, special discussions and debates on terrorism will be organised in all the colleges and schools across the state to create awareness about the perils of violence and terrorism, a state government communique said here today.
On that day, an oath will also be administered at all the government offices and other public institutions against violence and terrorism, the release added.
