Govt to distribute land to poor near Kolleru lake area

Eluru, Andhra Pradesh, May 19 (UNI) Member of Parliament, Eluru, Kavuri Sambasiva Rao, today said the government would distribute land to the poor in Kolleru fresh water lake area, soon.

People of Kolleru requested the MP to distribute lands and save them from the harassment of the officials.

He said the government was committed to bring justice to the people of villages near Kolleru and added as part of this, the government had conducted a survey in the above fifth contour level of the Lake and identified surplus land.

Mr Rao assured them that the Andhra Pradesh government would distribute 'land pattas' to the eligible.
