Dacoits loot agro-industrialist of Rs 20 lakh

Nagpur, May 19 (UNI) A gang of dacoits armed with weapons today entered the house of an agro-industrialist at village Chikhli in the neighbouring Buldhana district and robbed goods worth Rs 20 lakh.

The six-member gang carrying a country-made pistol and rods entered the house of Laxmandas Wadhwani early this morning and allegedly threatened him and other family members, before ransacking and robbing the house, Chikhli police station PSO Sopan Borse said.

The dacoits had snapped the telephone lines before entering the Wadhwani household. They were speaking in Hindi.

No arrest has been made so far in this connection, he added.
