3 killed, 14 injured in UP road accident

Lucknow, May 19 (UNI) At least three people were killed and 14 others seriously injured when a speeding private bus overturned in the district today.

The accident took place in Mauranipur area, when the bus driver lost control of the wheels after he tried to save an animal.

While two passengers died on the spot, another succumbed on the way to hospital, police said.

The injured have been admitted to the Jhansi Medical College and their condition was stated to be critical.
