10 year old girl killed and 7 others wounded in Kashmir
Srinagar, May 19 (UNI) A 10-year-old girl was killed and seven others were wounded in separate road accidents in the Kashmir today during past 24 hours, police said.
The girl was hit by a vehicle at Mirgund on Srinagar Baramulla highway last evening, and sustained serious injuries.
She was immediately rushed to hospital but she died on the way.
A Beacon vehicle hit and wounded five persons at Boniyar market in the border town of Uri last evening. The injured had been hospitalised.
In another accident a Tata vehicle hit and injured one Ghulam Nabi Khan, at Panth Chowk on Srinagar-Jammu National Highway late last night, police said.
One Muzaffar Ahmad Dar, was also wounded when a Tata vehicle hit him at Batingo in Anantnag district.
