Chennai, May 18 (UNI) Union Communications and Information Technology Minister A Raja said today priority would be given to programmes providing communication facilities to the rural people, especially the students, as in urban areas.

Mr Raja, who took charge of the IT and Communications portfolio told newspersons at the Airport that he would follow the 10-point agenda set up by his predecessor, Mr Dayanidhi Maran to develop the IT sector. ''There was still a huge agenda which needs to be completed'', he said.
