Six Mumbai tourists wounded in Kashmir
Srinagar, May 18 (UNI) At least six tourists from Mumbai were wounded when a rafting boat overturned in river Lidder at the famed hill resort of Pahalgam in south Kashmir today, sources said.
They said the rafting boat carrying the tourists overturned when the navigator failed to control it due to high tides in the river.
All the tourists were wounded in the accident. They were rushed to the Pahalgam hospital, the sources said.
While four tourists were immediately discharged after the first aid, two are undergoing treatment in the hospital, they added.
