President, PM condemn Hyderabad blast
New Delhi, May 18 (UNI) President A P J Abdul Kalam and Prime Minister Manmohan Singh have condemned the bomb blast in Hyderabad today.
Dr Kalam has written to Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S R Reddy, asking the CM to convey his condolences to the families of the deceased. He said he was praying for the early recovery of the injured.
The President said he was sure the state government was taking all measures to maintain peace and security in the wake of the blast, according to Rashtrapati Bhavan spokesman S M Khan.
Condemning the blast, Dr Singh has urged members of all communities to maintain peace and communal harmony. He expressed his condolences to the relatives of the victims.
