Nonco-operative attitude of CT officials posing problems: ICCU

Kochi, May 18 (UNI) The Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI) today alleged that the nonco-operative attitude of the Commercial Tax Department officials was posing practical problems to tax-payers in Kerala.

In a statement here, Chamber President K Retnan said this situation prevailed in the state despite the assurance by Finance Minister Thomas Issac that the concerned officials will co-operate with the assessees so long as they paid the taxes in time.

The Chamber also urged the Minister to look into the matter and take remedial measures.
