Kerala, Malaysia to ink MoU

Kozhikode, May 18 (UNI) The Kerala Government will sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on June 30 with the Malaysian Government to set up a satellite city at Kinallur near here.

The MoU for the ambitious Rs 1,000 crore project, comprising IT park, medical city and high-rise apartments, would be signed between representatives of the two Governments in Thiruvananthapuram, State Industries Minister Elamaram Kareem said at a function here today.

He said, Malaysian firm Construction Industries Development Board (CIDB) had agreed to release funds for the project, expected to come up on the land owned by the Kerala State Industrial Development Corporation (KSIDC).
