Jaiprakash Associates Q4 net up 56 pc

New Delhi, May 18 (UNI) Construction service provider Jaiprakash Associates Ltd today posted 56 per cent rise in its net profit at Rs 131 crore for the fourth quarter ended March 2007 as against Rs 84 crore during the corresponding period last year.

However, the company's total income remained unchanged at Rs 916 crore during the quarter.

For the year ended March 2007, company's net profit registered 35 per cent drop at Rs 415 crore in comparison to Rs 640 crore for the year ended March 31, 2006.
